School's Out!!!

Today is the last day of school, thank you Jesus!!! We are so excited to throw ourselves head-first into summertime we can hardly stand it! What are our plans, you ask? We plan to spend as much time as we can at the lake with as many family and friends that will come to visit... We've planned a trip to Seattle to watch a Mariners game, maybe do some shopping, sight-seeing and unnecessary eating... Zac and Collin will do some work with Dad, learning the business... Kayla will attend horse camp... Zac will play in Hoopfest... Just to name a few things! Aaah, it's going to be great!

Collin has completed Middle School and will begin attending High School in the fall. Gulp. Time goes so by so fast! We know he has a lot to look forward to and will undoubtedly meet lots of new friends and make many people smile in High School.

Zac graduated from the sixth grade and will begin attending Middle School in the fall. He is excited to move on with his friends and we know as he continues to work hard and do his best he will reap the rewards. Don't grow up too fast, son!

Kayla has had quite a year in the fourth grade. She found a kindred spirit in Mrs. LeMay, her favorite teacher. Years ago, Mrs. LeMay created a book club to encourage her students to read as many books as they could during the school year. Kayla read over 600 books, more than any student Mrs. LeMay has ever taught! Way to go, KK!

As you can see, Maisie has big plans this summer. Other than helping Daddy drive the boat, she wants to swim in the lake and eat marshmallows. We keep them at the cabin for roasting, so she thinks in order to eat a marshmallow she has to be at the lake...and that's the way Mom wants to keep it!
Have a great summer and God Bless You!
