Whatcha thinking about, Peanut?

Now that summer is over and we're "hibernating" more...No more warm weeks spent at the lake; less cooperative weather for playing outside; Zac and Kayla gone at school all day...Maisie and Mommy have had more time to play inside and work on our "big girl goals"! Such as.....

Maisie loves to play with kids and she REALLY wants to go to school and make friends just like her brothers and sister. We've had some recent opportunities to make new friends and are working toward playing nicely, using our manners and sharing.
Maisie has her very own "big girl bed" just like her sister, Kayla. She still misses her crib at times...but loves her new soft blankies and is beginning to love her new bed.
Meet Betsy Wetsy. Or, as Maisie calls her, Betsy-Wetsy-Wetsy-Wetsy. No, you didn't miss Maisie's birthday...she's wearing a party hat for our potty training party! Maisie and Mommy are training Betsy to use the big girl potty. Maisie is such a good little Mommy. She loves to feed Betsy bottles of water and then put her on the potty to watch Betsy "wetsy." Right now this has me laughing to the point of tears. I've forgotten how much Mommy effort goes into potty training and after two years-eleven months-and one day of diapers I am SO wanting to move forward! Today was a challenge but I'm sure, given some time, Maisie will be as willing to use the big girl potty as Betsy is!!!

I know that it's been challenging for you to get Bub going on the big girl potty just because she has a small fear of it. My advice would be just to pray about it and I think something will come to you!
