On Christmas Eve Christian made a Deep Fried Turkey. I was a little skeptical at first, but I have to admit that was one tasty turkey! We made a nice meal to celebrate Christmas Eve together.
Kayla took this picture of Preston...I think he was hoping for some Deep Fried Turkey. He got a nice, new bone instead!

Daddy's Deep Fried Turkey... A new Christmas Eve Tradition!

I loved spending Christmas Vacation with the kids. It was nice to have them home for a relaxing break from the normal routine.
We had fun baking, shopping, snuggling up for movies and having some one on one time.

The Candlelight church service is a Christmas Eve tradition I look forward to every year. It's such a beautiful sight to see all the candles lit as we sing Christmas praises to our King.

It was fun to open gifts with the kids. Zac and Kayla doted on Maisie and let her help them open some of their presents, too.
On Christmas day, we went to Grandma Bitton's Christmas party. It's always one of my favorite events...one of the few times all of the "in town" family gathers together.

My sister, Victoria, always blesses our family by playing piano during these family gatherings. She helped Maisie play and sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." At the end of the song Maisie turned around and clapped with everyone, then took a bow! She earned a new nickname..."Twinkle-Twinkle." I think piano lessons are in her future.
