We had a million things to do....Christmas shopping, preparing for our Monday night Bible Study, addressing Christmas cards, wrapping presents that are hidden before I forget where I put them, baking Christmas gifts for friends and neighbors, returning calls and replying to emails... all this on top of the usual to do list. But by-golly sometimes you just have to get away. By the middle of last week I was so tired of the to-do's, the sound of the tv, the internet, cell phones. So on Friday we loaded up the car and headed for Camp Bay! We had a wonderful, peaceful weekend together. We kept toasty by the fire, watched movies, played games, took some walks (beautiful but BURR!) and mostly just enjoyed being together. Away from it all.
The girls had fun working on their Gingerbread house while Zac slept in. He added some of his creative touches after he woke up!
Why decorate with all that candy when we can eat it???!

a weekend at the cabin
Kayla took some beautiful pictures of the lake this weekend. To see them visit her blog at www.kaylajode.blogspot.com. Enjoy the Camp Bay scenery!
