Happy Birthday ZAC!!!

Is Zac really 14 years old already???!!! In honor of his birthday, here is our list of

fourteen things we love about Zac!

1. Zac is a good son. He loves and respects his parents. He wants us to be pleased with him and we are!

2. Zac is a thoughtful brother and takes good care of his siblings. He even let Maisie help blow out his candles and open some of his birthday presents.

3. Zac is responsible. The older he gets, the more responsibility he has. Whether taking care of his homework assignments or managing how many cell phone minutes he can use, we can count on Zac to take care of things.

4. Zac is a hard worker. Whatever the task, we can trust him to do a good job.

5. Zac has a soft heart. He admits when he "messes up" and does what he needs to make things right.

6. Zac is a great athlete and a reliable team mate. His coaches have always counted on him to do his best.

7. Zac has a warm and bright smile. He is complimented on it often, but I love it because it reflects who Zac is on the inside.

8. Zac has strong character. Over the years, many of his teachers and coaches have commented that he is nice to everyone and likes to be helpful.

9. Zac is funny! Whether jumping off the dock with his clothes on for a laugh or telling funny stories, we love to laugh with Zac.

10. Zac loves to talk and tell stories but he is also a good listener.

11. Zac is loyal. He works to maintain relationships with his family and friends.

12. Zac is a great and thoughtful friend. He likes to spend time with his friends.

13. Zac is a hugger and I love to be hugged by him.

14. Most importantly, Zac has a heart for God. He wants to please Him.

I love you so much, Zac. We joke about the fourteen hours I was in labor with you but I want you to know, fourteen years later, that I am so very pleased with you and you were worth every minute of that pain! I love you very much and I'm proud to be your Mom. Happy Birthday, son.
