We celebrated Independence Day at our favorite place on earth...the lake. The above photo is of our neighbor's dock and American Flag. On July 4th we enjoyed a spectacular fireworks show that our neighbors put on. I think there must be a competition of some sort between cabin owners because they really went all out amidst hoots and hollers. Maisie calls them "firecookies" instead of firecrackers. I think we'll adopt that term!

I'm glad you all had such a nice 4th of July. My 4th of July was really fun too. First I got two giant pieces of pizza. Then we went to watch the kareoke show. One guy sang Another One Bites The Dust. He was just a terrible singer but it was really funny to watch. As soon as someone proved themself to be a good singer we realized that Paris from camp who is just a great singer should do the kareoke too. So we searched for her for about an hour. By then the kareoke was over. Paris had actually gone to dinner with her parents. We were really disappointed. After the kareoke we went around looking at things to buy. I got two packs of gum and two suckers from a little stand called Candy Land. After that we went and found a seat for the fireworks. At the place where the kareoke was a singer thats going to become famous in Nashville was singing there. But she was singing Kelly Clarkson's songs (How dare she). After that we went to see the fireworks. Sarah who is a councelor Tori who is my friend and I were screaming every time a firework went off. The people didn'e lie it really was a great firework show!
Love,
Blondie
