This is exactly the sort of thing I loved when I was a little girl...Seeing everything covered in a blanket of white, fluffy snow. The more the better! Even now, as a family of skiers, we love winter. But this year is different. There's been a dangerous amount of snow. Roofs are collapsing, the roads have been treacherous and schools have been closed! In fact, everytime I type the word "snow" it sort of feels like....a four letter word!
Thankfully, Christian's crew came and cleared the snow off our roof yesterday. Unfortunately, it had to land somewhere...our deck is covered in up to six feet of snow, right up to the door. It looks like we have our work cut out for us today! We also have a leak in our ceiling due to an ice dam, and pretty much have to wait until the ice melts to fix it. So the hole in the drywall keeps growing and growing and growing...drip, drip......drip.... We're hoping it's the only leak we'll have to deal with! This is getting to be a depressing blog post. On the bright side...
This is Christian's definition of shovelling. He took out the enormous berm from the snow plow in front of our house, made a parking spot for guests, and dumped the excess snow in the front yard to form a "sledding hill" Now that's creative!

So much snow!!! Surprisingly, I wasn't too sore after shoveling the deck for two and a quarter hours! Has Kissy finished it or do I get to finish it up? Any news on horse camp?? Love you Mama!!!
