Snow Day!!!!

Here we go again! Shovel, shovel, and shovel some more. Thanks to Zac for being so helpful and spending two hours shoveling without complaining. And to Kayla who joined him and helped without asking if it was a paying job or not : ) We LOVE the snow in spite of all the shoveling, scary drivers, and f-f-ffreezing temps. Hopefully it will warm up a good fifteen degrees so we can head to the mountain and play. Until then, we'll be sticking close to home for our snow days!

Zac jumped in the snow and I said "OH, wait right there!!! I have to grab my camera!!!" As I ran inside I could hear him muttering "oh my gosh are you kidding me mom???"

I'm dreaming of a snow-blower...

While the big kids were shoveling, Maisie and I baked a few more sugar cookies to add to the raspberry lemon thumbprints and paradise macaroons.

This is one tough girl...Who needs gloves anyway???

I love your post! I wish we had that much snow. We just get to enjoy the near zero temps!!!!!! I love that you made Zac stay there to get your camera.
We are baking Paradise macaroons too! how funny! I am sure mine wont be as good as Martha's! Maisie looks cute there with the sugar cookies, Cameron was obsessed with the cookie cutters, he loved the idea of cutting out the dough. And as much as we told him "no no, don't eat the dough", he still kept sneaking bites when he thought we weren't looking.
give the kids hugs!
love,
Erika
